Winnie Gwaza, 34, was banned from going to work by her husband John Chitsamba, 42, after Whatsapp love messages with Barnabas Mudzinganyama were discovered on her mobile phone.

John forcibly took Winnie’s mobile phone and started communicating with her alleged lover Mudzinganyama before reaching the decision to ban her from going to work.

From October, John has been monitoring Winnie’s whatsapp and if he finds her online he checks to see if Mudzinganyama is also online.

Whenever he finds out that Winnie and Mudzinganyama are online John calls Winnie to stop her from communicating as he suspects that she will be communicating with Mudzinganyama.

John confirmed stopping Winnie from going to work following his discovery of the affair between Winnie and Mudzinganyama.

“I became suspicious of my wife’s behaviour before I took her mobile phone to check her messages after she left to take a bath,” said John.

“She came back within minutes to collect her cell phone and we wrestled and I took it by force and kept it for three days as I communicated on Whatsapp with her boyfriend.

“She had no other phone to stop him from communicating with me since she had not memorised Mudzinganyama’s contact number.

“I stopped her from going to work and she later apologised but within days she started communicating with Mudzinganyama.

“Whenever I check whether Mudzinganyama is online I check my wife’s mobile phone and both of them would be online to show that they are communicating.

“Ndakushanda moyo urimumaoko nekuda kwa Mudzinganyama for he is ignoring my warning to stop dating my wife.

“If she continues with Mudzinganyama I am going to discover it soon because boys dzangu dzichamuongorora kumba ikoko,” said John fuming with envy.

In another interview Winnie told H-Metro that she has no peace since that incident and it has forced her to switch off the contact line.

“Mukwasha zvakatooma hazvo. I no longer have peace of mind since he always questions me over any contact he finds in my phone,” said Winnie.

“Am I not allowed to communicate with anyone and even my relatives are worried about calling me since every call will be questioned.

“Mudzinganyama met me and he requested for my contact details and I gave him because I sell men’s clothing so it was for business only.

“He (John) suspected that Mudzinganyama was my workmate unaware that he is based at Harare International Airport. I have since stopped communicating with him following that incident and I beg you not to publish that story please,” said Winnie.

One of the messages sent to john on October 11 by Winnie apologising after the return of her mobile phone reads; handina basa naye ndakatendeuka kare ndomuonera kupi, tinosvika cz munhu iyeye ndakapedzerana naye kare.”

Mudzinganyama, despite Winnie’s claims that he is her clothing customer CONFIRMED dating Winnie after she lied to him that she was not married and has since stopped following threats by John.

“I am sorry on that one and we have since settled the issue with John after he confronted me asking me to stop dating his wife,” said Mudzinganyama.

“Winnie lied to me that she was not married and I stopped communicating with her immediately after discovering that she is a married woman. That story will not go well with me. Can you stop it from being published brother,” said Mudzinganyama. H Metro
