A Nehanda Citizen Reporter who captured the drama said the chaos occurred on Saturday in the morning around 8:30am.

“Old Tafara last had running tap water on Tuesday and people were jostling to fetch water at the borehole because the line was too long. Chaos ensued when some of the residents tried to jump the queue,” he said.
