While the Zimbabwe government reportedly booked 350 legislators in the plush Elephant Hills Intercontinental Hotel in Victoria Falls for a three-day pre-budget seminar next week spare a thought for these Old Tafara residents who exchanged blows while jostling for scarce water at a local borehole.

A Nehanda Citizen Reporter who captured the drama said the chaos occurred on Saturday in the morning around 8:30am.
“Old Tafara last had running tap water on Tuesday and people were jostling to fetch water at the borehole because the line was too long. Chaos ensued when some of the residents tried to jump the queue,” he said.
