NORTON – A commuter omnibus driven by a ‘whindi’ was involved in an accident at Maridale in Norton on Tuesday injuring several passengers, some of them seriously. Police rushed to the scene and transported the injured to Katanga Clinic.
One witness at the scene said it was unfortunate that residents had constructed speed humps along the road and the local council destroyed them. He said they are now living in fear for their children who cross the road to nearby schools.
