Picture: Truck smashes into Mercedes along Harare Drive

HARARE – On Tuesday this yellow truck burst a tyre along Harare Drive close to Haig Park Primary School and veered onto the oncoming lane resulting in it ramming into the silver Mercedes Benz ML.

At the time this picture was taken by a Nehanda Radio Citizen reporter, the driver of the silver Benz was trapped in the vehicle and the Harare Fire Brigade were battling frantically to set him free by cutting the car.

We understand the driver of the silver ML, a Dr Chironga died after being trapped for over 2 hours in the wreckage.
