It would appear turning to God has cost Owen Jiyane his marriage after his wife Charity Maphosa showed him the exit when he allegedly discovered a snake with ‘two heads’ in the yard after sprinkling ‘holy’ water he got from church.

“I started going to the Revelation Church after a prophet from Iminyela told me that I was only left with three days on earth. At the church I was given some holy water and when I told my wife that I had started attending church services, she was not happy and labelled me a Satanist.

“A few days later, I saw a snake with two heads and I took my water and salt which I used to sprinkle it. When my wife saw me, she shouted at me saying I was disturbing people’s things with my water,” he claimed.

After the incident, Maphosa reportedly told Jiyane that he should leave as the landlady did not want to see him again.

“My wife and the landlady are in good books and one day when I was coming from work, the landlady confronted me and told me that she did not want to see me at her house because I was not paying rent on time. When I tried to question her on what she meant since I always paid rent on time, she brought up the church issue,” said Jiyane.

When Maphosa was contacted for comment she refused to comment on the issue saying: “No comment.”
