After 33 uninterrupted years in power, 89 year old Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe faces his toughest challenge in the battle for State House against a much younger and more popular candidate in Morgan Tsvangirai (61).
But what will decide this contest? Mugabe’s ability to rig yet another election or the collective will of the people of Zimbabwe to beat his abuse of state machinery? According to provisions in the Electoral Act the answer should be out within 5 days.
