A Waterfalls gardener was shocked when he came across a decomposing human body floating in the Mukuvisi River on Saturday. Stephen Alishilo, 32, discovered the body while fetching water for the garden before alerting the police.

“I could not believe it. I later discovered that it was a female body in its decomposing state… I was watering the garden this morning,” said Stephan.

“I ran away in fear before making a police report,” he added.

“We suspect that she was murdered before being thrown into the river not that she drowned in the river,” said one of the on lookers at the scene.
