KickOff.com has gathered that Malajila’s new deal is significantly higher than what he was earning at Maritzburg United, with his signing on fees at Chloorkop to increase depending on his contribution every year.

Word is that his deal was actually completed a couple of weeks before he left for his holidays in Zimbabwe after Maritzburg agreed to what Sundowns were offering.

However, the Brazilians decided to keep the deal under wraps, choosing to only confirm it once they had also completed the signing of Togolese midfielder Dove Wome. Malajila becomes Sundowns’ ninth confirmed signing.

The 27 year-old, who played for both of Zimbabwe’s biggest clubs and old enemies Highlanders and Dynamos, moves to Downs after spending 18 months at Maritzburg. KickOff.com
