LONDON – Promoters of the ‘SAMA FESTIVAL UK 2013’ featuring the legendary Zimbabwe music icon Oliver Mtukudzi, Winky D, Suluman and Allan Chimbetu have announced a change of venue for the massive tour.

Speaking to Nehanda Radio, Fred Matenga from Y2K Entertainment Promotions said the venue change was “for our valued customers’ extra safety and enjoyment” and they were also endeavouring to provide high quality shows.

The shows are set to bring four different artists to cater for all age groups and musical tastes. Mtukudzi the ‘Great Samanyanga’ will be backed by his full band with female vocalists by popular demand. He will unleash old and new songs.

Winky D “The Ninja President” with the full Vigilance band and the Chimbetus comprising Sulumani and Allan riding high with their hit song “Sean Timba” popularly known as “Batai Munhu” which is mesmerising revellers.

The initial dates for all the three scheduled shows, however, remain unchanged. Below are the new venues where all the touring artists and their live bands will now perform at:

HARARE - After the drama that surrounded last year’s Oliver Mtukudzi International Festival of the Arts (OMIFA), hostilities seem to have been restored once again in the Tuku household, amid revelations that his daughter, Selmor Mtukudzi and his wife Daisy Mtukudzi are organising two shows, to be held a day apart, to celebrate his life.
