SOUTH AFRICA – A Zimbabwean man was stabbed to death in South Africa’s Eastern Cape on Sunday after a vicious fight broke out between him and another Zimbabwean over a South African girlfriend.
Nehanda Radio understands Peter Gwarima was attacked by his countryman only identified as Morgan (picture supplied). The stabbing took place in Stokwe Street in an area called KwaNobuhle Uitenhage outside Port Elizabeth.
Gwarima died on arrival at a local hospital. Distraught friends supplied Nehanda Radio with video footage of him as he lay motionless in hospital. The horrific wounds shown in the video betrayed the vicious nature of the attack.
Not much is known about Gwarima except that he was a farm manager at Loulie Chicken Farm in the area. We understand police are currently looking for Morgan, the chief suspect in the murder.
