HARARE – Zimbabwe sungura musician Alick Macheso did not have a welcome return from a tour to the United Kingdom when he arrived back home to see his BMW X5 vehicle had a window missing after being broken into.
Even before Macheso went into his Waterfalls home the first thing he noticed was the vandalised car and quickly starting inspecting the damage. Strangely the house is guarded by an astonishing 17 dogs who failed to stop the intruder(s).
The ‘Amai Va Ruby’ star is however adamant he knows the people responsible for breaking into car. Nothing was found to be missing in the car which had its front passenger door window neatly cut.
“It is scary: you wonder what the motive behind this was. How can a person break into my car and leave all the things in the car? I won’t use the car for now. You won’t guess. Someone could have tampered with it so I have to leave it for a while as I look for experienced people to ascertain the damage,” he said.
