CHITUNGWIZA – The clay pot that was mysteriously unaffected by the blast that claimed five lives in Chitungwiza on Monday afternoon was finally removed.
The pot believed to have been used to create the ‘juju lightning’ was eventually removed by the father to the late sangoma Speakmore Mandere.
The development came after passionate pleas by residents for popular Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa to dispose of the clay pot which seemed ‘too hot to touch’.
The landlord Oliver Dumba confirmed that the pot was taken to Chiweshe.
“Hari yakabviswa nababa vake nezvimwe zvinhu zvake vakaenda nazvo kuChiweshe ( the pot was taken by his father along with his other belongings and he took them to Chiweshe,” said Dumba. ‘Swiriwu Mandere’
