Grade 7 results are finally out

The marking of the 2012 grade seven examinations has been completed and schools are expected to start receiving the results today.
Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) chairman, Professor Norman Maphosa confirmed the development saying the examinations body delayed marking as it was waiting for the Ministry of Finance to release the $1, 5 million to pay the markers.
Cabinet had to intervene by ordering ZIMSEC to use its own resources to fund the exercise. Meanwhile education, sport, arts and culture minister senator David Coltart has reassured the nation that Ordinary and Advanced Level Examination results for this year will be released on time. The Chronicle
