CAPS United are through to the semi-finals of the Mbada Diamonds Cup after beating Buffaloes 2-nil in a quarter-final match played at Gibo stadium in Chiredzi this Saturday.

FC Platinum also booked a berth in the last four of the Mbada Diamonds Cup after overcoming Shabanie 1-0 in a Zvishavane derby at Mandava stadium.
In other quarter-final matches set for this Sunday, Harare giants Dynamos clash with Gunners at Baghdad stadium in Kwekwe while Highlanders lock horns with Monomotapa at the Colliery.
After surviving a genuine scare in the first round of the Mbada Diamonds Cup, holders Dynamos will not leave anything to chance when they clash with youthful Gunners in a quarter-final tie at Baghdad.
DeMbare will also be looking to maintain a positive attitude as they plunge into the battle after learning that their star defender Guthrie Zhokinyi was slapped with a life ban for his alleged involvement in the Asiagate scandal.
