FC Platinum 0-1 Dynamos
Dynamos took a huge step towards winning the Castle Premier Soccer League title after they dispatched moneybags FC Platinum 0-1 at Mandava stadium in Zvishavane on Sunday.
An own goal from Daniel Vheremu who put the ball past his own goalkeeper in 66th minute was enough to see DeMbare go top of the league, courtesy of a superior goal difference (four-goal aggregate). Both teams are tied on 55 points.
Dynamos only have to beat relegated Kiglon at Rufaro Stadium in their next match and hope FC Platinum do not beat Shooting Stars by a huge margin. The win also meant for the first time this season Dynamos have won a league match outside the capital Harare.
