A love triangle degenerated into free drama at Noble Hair Products shop along Leopold Takawira Street two weeks ago when a suspected ‘small house’ was given a beating by her boyfriend’s ‘legal’ wife. Lorraine Louis (26) was attacked by Florence Maruza (27) who accused her of wrecking her marriage with Tendai Maruza (32).
Florence came across romantic text messages in her hubby’s phone and her investigations revealed that the ‘sweet nothings’ originated from Lorraine’s phone. Florence did NOT immediately confront her husband until she found out where Lorraine worked. She saved Lorraine’s number and visited her workplace.
“Florence saved Lorraine’s number and when she came to the shop she set a bait for Lorraine and caught her,” narrated an eyewitness. Florence walked into Lorraine’s workplace and dialed her number closely watching which of the employees was going to pick up the phone.
Lorraine innocently picked up her phone not knowing that she was giving herself away. “Okay you are the person that I am looking for,” fumed Florence as she advanced towards Lorraine and gave her a shower of blows. To save the reputation of her company, Lorraine called for a ‘ceasefire’ and asked her nemesis for ‘talks’ at a food outlet situated at Construction House.
“Lorraine realised that if the scuffle continued inside the shop she would get into trouble with our boss so she became diplomatic and asked her rival suitor to discuss the issue outside the shop,” narrated an eyewitness who happens to be a workmate.
The adultery crisis meeting was convened at Construction House and Florence was NOT willing to make peace with a woman who snatched her man. Upon realising the deadlock in the ‘talks’, Lorraine called her boyfriend number 2, one Pride Chihobo who reacted swiftly and came driving a grey Nissan Caravan.
Lorraine then fled from the scene heading towards Pride’s vehicle but her attempt to jump aboard was thwarted by onlookers who were scolding her for being a marriage-wrecker.
“Lorraine wanted to jump into her second boyfriend’s car but she was blocked. “That boyfriend is known by all our workmates and she flirts with him ONLY on Sundays,” revealed a workmate. Pride was only her weekend lover, as it were!
After the collapse of the ‘talks’ Lorraine started shouting at Florence bragging that she was NOT the one who had proposed love to her husband so she must take care of her husband and not feud with her.
“Your husband is the one who proposed love to me and I never came to your house seeking for love. You better ask your husband rather than coming to disturb my peace,” shouted Lorraine.
When asked for her response, Florence refused to entertain H-Metro arguing that it would NOT help her to solve the matter of the hubby snatcher.
“What does that help me talking to you, I want to deal with this b**ch who is wrecking my marriage. “I want to teach her a lesson, I am suffering because of her,” said Florence.
Meanwhile, when H-Metro visited Florence’s husband Tendai at Trentyre in Msasa and he confirmed that he heard about the scuffle involving his wife and Lorraine but he denied being in a relationship with Lorraine.
“My wife never told me anything, I have known Lorraine for a very long time, and she is a friend from church.
“We used to fellowship together in Highfield. “We are tight friends but we have limits,” said Tendai, the man in the middle of the love triangle. After realising the potential disrepute to his name, Pride disowned Lorraine.
“She wanted to jump into my car but I don’t know her, she is not my girlfriend,” said Pride despite the fact that it was Lorraine who had summoned her to the scene.
However, despite the TWO men’s denial, impeccable sources who are privy to Lorraine’s love life CONFIRMED that Pride and Tendai were BOTH Lorraine’s lovers. “Pride is Lorraine’s boyfriend and Tendai pays for her transport to Sunningdale.
“Tendai bought all the household goods in Lorraine’s house in Sunningdale and he also pays school fees for Lorraine’s kid,” said the source who said Lorraine even brags about it. When further questioned, Lorraine said Pride and Tendai were just very close friends (without benefit).
“They are my friends, we are NOT in love but we are very close. “They help me in times of need,” said Lorraine who was reneging on her initial statement in which she blatantly told Florence she was in love with Tendai.
