Zimbabwe’s top striker Knowledge Musona has finally joined German club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim after impressing with South African club Kaizer Chiefs where he was the league’s top scorer with 15 goals.

The 21 year old has signed a five-year deal and joins for a fee believed to be near 1,5 million pounds or R16 million. On Thursday Kaizer Chiefs announced the conclusion of the deal at a press conference in Johannesburg despite keen interest from Scottish giants Celtic.
“Musona is going as soon as he gets his visa. It is not a loan. It is a fully signed contract of five years. We will miss him at Kaizer Chiefs. We want to wish him all the best and we give him all our blessings,” said team manager Bobby Motaung.
Musona meanwhile said he wanted to “thank everyone at Kaizer Chiefs for everything they have helped me with since the beginning of my pro career. I hope one day I will be back – I will never forget my time at Chiefs.” Nehanda Radio.com
