In an aptly titled theme taken from Hebrews 10 vs. 39,”It is not over until GOD says its over. Do not draw back”. The Conference promises to be an awesome and inspirational weekend for Christians and non-Christians alike in what has been the most anticipated event of the year.

Pastor Donnie McClurkin will join other mightily-used men of GOD including AFM’s Pastor Charukwa, Pastor Josh Chigorimbo and Reverend Mberi . In his hard-hitting but poignant messages Donnie often makes reference to his childhood abuse and how such adversity has shaped him as a Christian.

Pastor McClurkin’s message is clear: “I want to introduce Jesus Christ to the world, not as a religious leader or an icon, but as an intimate friend who wants to radically change our lives for the better. Donnie, as he is affectionately known amongst his legion of fans made a spell-binding performance recently at the Glamis Arena in Harare.

Donnie is back by popular demand following his debut ironically at the Dome last year. The ‘Days of Elijah’ hitmaker joins an equally formidable lineup featuring also a fellow singer/composer and minister, Pastor Josh Chigorimbo who is not a newcomer to dealing with young people.

He humbly cherishes his gifting as a worship-musician, prophetic Bible-teacher, church-planter and Christian leader and thrives to fulfill his life-purpose of empowering people to possess their God-given heritage.

Pastor Charukwa, himself an international speaker by his own right was in an uncompromising mood when he caught with this writer promising the attendees an encounter with GOD.

Nicknamed ‘Tornadoe Power’, Rev Mberi  has an interesting tale to tell., “After my conversion, I tarried for 3 more years because I was a bit hesitant to lose my job which I dearly loved.” But a few years later he concedes,” My heart’s cry is that every human being under the sun be saved and that the generation of today be fired up and become subjects that will cause change in this era”

Tinashe Chakwana, of AFM Manchester Assembly is looking forward to his first ever Youth Conference as a teen. He was exuberant upon hearing the lineup of Speakers at the conference.” I can’t wait for the conference, it’s a good time to mix  and mingle with other young people of my age in Christ.”

The whole Conference will be a mixed bag with a combination of Praise and Worship, Word, Ministries and Items from young people drawn from different assemblies scattered around the United Kingdom.

Speaking ahead of the conference, Deacon Ben Tsikwa,  AFM National Youth Leader said, “Here’s what happens when our Youth are left to discover their own code for living:  Satan can offer them if we do not offer them the Truth, Jesus Christ”.

The event starts on Friday 29-31 July 2011. It is free admission and welcome to young people, parents and visitors.
