Seventy percent think Tsvangirai will be President

A whopping 70 percent of Nehanda Radio.com readers think Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai will win the next Presidential election tentatively set for this year. Twenty percent of our readers think his bitter rival Robert Mugabe will retain the position he has held for the last disastrous 30 years.

We have been running an online poll for the last few weeks trying to get a flavour of who our readers and listeners think will win the next presidential poll. Coming in third was Mavambo/Kusile/Dawn leader and former Finance Minister Simba Makoni with 6 percent of the votes.

Over the polling period the bottom two candidates Dumiso Dabengwa and Welshman Ncube exchanged places at least 5 times. In the end Ncube came 4th with 3 percent of the vote while Dabengwa, a former Home Affairs minister under Zanu PF came last with 1 percent of the online vote.
