President-elect Emmerson Mnangagwa yesterday said the country will not return land seized from former white commercial farmers almost two decades ago.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s government has thrown a lifeline to white commercial farmers by inviting them to enter into joint ventures with resettled farmers as part of reviving agriculture and boosting the economy.
Beneficiaries of the controversial land reform exercise will soon be expected to pay rent for their farms as part of ZANU PF party’s alternative methods of raising funds.
Another victory has been won in the ongoing fight for justice for the unlawful land grab campaign, after the Zimbabwe government last week caved in to legal pressure to accept accountability.
