‘Resurrect Chidawu to help you’ – Muguti tells Harare widows

A group of widows and young women from Harare have written to President Emmerson Mnangagwa accusing Harare Metropolitan Provincial Affairs and Devolution secretary Tafadzwa Muguti of blocking their small businesses in the capital city. They said Muguti stubbornly told them that they should resurrect the late Minister of State for Harare Metropolitan Provincial Affairs and Devolution Oliver Chidawu who allowed them to use the market space during the weekend.

Muguti shuts down First Lady’s Angel of Hope, more NGOs for failing to comply

Among non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that have been shut down by Harare Provincial Development Co-ordinator Tafadzwa Muguti on Thursday is First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa’s Angel of Hope Foundation.

In a communique seen by Nehanda Radio, Muguti said that all organisations that did not comply with his directive to seek operational clearance through his office should be banned with immediate effect.
