Disgraced lawyer back in court

A 64-YEAR-OLD woman has taken disgraced former Cheda and Partners lawyer, Sindiso Mazibisa, to court for allegedly embezzling $40,000 which was part of her share from her late son’s estate.

Cheda law firm shut down

BULAWAYO – Cheda and Partners Law Firm has finally shut down. In a notice put outside the building that the law firm was renting, the curator Advocate Perpetua Dube advised clients to direct queries to the Law Society of Zimbabwe.

Chronicle faces $20 million lawsuit

BULAWAYO – A High Court judge yesterday dismissed an application by Cheda and Partners to stop the Law Society of Zimbabwe (LSZ) from placing it under curatorship, which obliges the law firm’s two senior partners to voluntarily surrender their practising certificates.
