PRETORIA – Gauteng Hawks head Shadrack Sibiya is expected to find out today whether he’s guilty or not of involvement in the so-called Zimbabwean renditions case and whether he can now return to work.
PRETORIA – Hawks management has alleged it’s highly improbable that the unit’s Gauteng head, Shadrack Sibiya, would not have known about the operation to arrest and deport Zimbabwean suspects.
HARARE – Zimbabwean police have refused to state what action they took against officers who were suspected to have murdered local criminals deported from South Africa.

SOUTH AFRICA – The suspension of Gauteng Hawks boss Maj-Gen Shadrack Sibiya was unconstitutional, the High Court in Pretoria ruled on Friday.
Top South African cop, Major-General Shadrack Sibiya, the head of the Hawks’ Gauteng division, has received a notice of suspension from the head office for his alleged involvement in the illegal rendition of Zimbabweans in 2010.
