The bizarre cases of women ganging up, kidnapping men and raping them has resurfaced again after a Harare man was recently drugged and driven to Rusape one early morning after being offered transport in a Toyota Prado by four women.
Police in Harare have launched a hunt for a four-member gang believed to have kidnapped and raped a male passenger they had offered a lift from the city centre last week. The man was heading for the Avondale area.
HARARE — Prosecutors in Zimbabwe said Thursday they have dropped charges against three women accused of raping men to collect their semen for tribal rituals after DNA tests failed to link them to 17 men who claimed they were victims.
HARARE- An investigating officer in the case of three women accused of “raping men” in search of semen has been ordered to bring documentary evidence as proof that the State sent DNA samples to South Africa.
HARARE – A DNA test continues to stall the trial of the three woman accused of sexually abusing men before harvesting the semen last year. The trial which has generated a lot of interest from human rights groups and people from all walks of life, has also been moved to February 23.
MARONDERA- Cases of female rapists that had stopped in the wake of the arrest of three suspects in Gweru last year have resurfaced amid reports that two men were sexually abused over the festive period.
The trio of Rosemary Chakwizira and sisters Netsai and Sophie Nhokwara were arrested in October after being found with 31 used condoms containing semen. Also charged is Sophie’s boyfriend, Thulani Ngwenya, who allegedly assisted in committing the spate of sex attacks that has got the whole country in frenzy.
Gweru- Two of the three women accused of ritualistic sexual attacks on at least 17 male hitch-hikers were forced to seek refuge at a police station in Gweru last Friday after they were attacked at a busy bus terminus by irate residents in the city, it was reported yesterday.
Three Gweru women were arrested recently and accused of raping several men. The women were paraded for all to jeer at. Their names were splashed all over the newspapers. To all intents and purposes they have been found guilty by the police, the public and the media – long before their case goes to court.
Three women accused of sexually abusing male hitchhikers in search of semen were yesterday granted US$300 bail apiece. Sisters Sophie (26) and Netsai Nhokwara (24), Rosemary Chakwizira (28) and their male friend Thulani Ngwenya (24) were granted bail in absentia with the consent of the Attorney-General’s Office.
