ZIMBABWE Tourism Authority (ZTA) acting chief executive, Mrs Rita Likukuma, has been removed from her position under unclear circumstances.
Minister of Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Priscah Mupfumira and Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA)board have seconded from the board, Rita Likukuma on an acting role of chief executive with effect from February 1, 2019.
Asbestos products manufacturer, Turnall Holdings, has contained a three-year decline in turnover, which rose 12 percent to $19,026 million for the year ended December 31, 2017, driven by an increase in sales volumes as well as production. Sales volumes rose by 9 percent on the prior year, mainly because of a jump in production levels.
Shabanie Mashaba Mines (SMM) Holdings will resume asbestos production at Mashava Mine by end of March this year after securing the initial funding required to restart operations.
