LONDON – Gospel singer Fungisai Zvakavapano Mashavave arrived at London’s Gatwick Airport on Wednesday around 7:30pm ahead of a UK tour that will see her stage two shows supported by fellow gospel singers Obert Mazivisa and Caroline Rumbi who are both based in the UK.
Gospel singer Fungisai Zvakavapano Mashavave is set to tour the United Kingdom next month and perform at two shows in which she will be supported by UK based gospel singers Obert Mazivisa and Caroline Rumbi.
The amateurish display in rolling out the awards could not however take away from the glitz and the glamour that accompanied the event. Most of the prominent Zimbabwean celebrities in the UK bar a few were in attendance.
I finally got my image all set up and I had a maxi colourful dress and my lovely comfy heels and not forgetting my gorgeous date, yes my mother. She looked stunning in blue. I tell you that woman takes after me. The night of glitz and glamour, red carpet and black tie, paparazzi and press had finally come.
For Zimbabweans in the UK all roads lead to the Mermaid Theatre in London on Saturday the 9th of April as a galaxy of Zimbabwean celebrities and singers grace the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards Ceremony hosted there.
