Doubts have arisen over police claims that they will use video footage and photos to identify and arrest the perpetrators of the violence that caused the MDC-T to cancel their rally at the Chibuku Stadium in Chitungwiza on Sunday.
The MDC-T has accused Tafara Chikumira, a reporter with the state broadcaster ZBC, of being part of the team coordinating Zanu PF’s Chipangano terror group. Chikumira was heard communicating constantly with Chipangano gang leader Jim Kunaka as the mob violently disrupted an MDC-T rally at Chibuku Stadium in Chitungwiza on Sunday.
