RETIRED General Solomon Mujuru’s family has not found closure after the decorated soldier died in a fire at his farm in Beatrice over a year ago amid indications that the case has died a natural death.
In August last year retired army general Solomon Mujuru died in a suspicious farm house fire in Beatrice. These are some of the early pictures showing the gutted house, his charred remains on the floor and some of the prominent people who visited the scene.
HARARE- The family of the late retired army commander, General Solomon Mujuru, is not convinced that the charred remains found at his gutted Beatrice farmhouse were those of the decorated liberation war hero since the police had not positively identified the remains at the time a public announcement was made.

Some have suggested that the convenient death of the shrewd politician might have been part of the acrimonious battle to succeed Mugabe.
Almost a month after the mysterious death of retired army general Solomon Mujuru in a fire, an international human rights organisation has offered the Mujuru family, at the behest of his friends and relatives, specialist forensic assistance that may result in his remains being exhumed.
