Former Ilanga keyboard player and sound engineer Keith Farquharson announced the opening of Bridgenorth Studios, a state of the art studio in Harare last week. Farquharson has mixed and mastered some of Zimbabwe’s best musicians’ music including Oliver Mtukudzi, Jah Prayzah, Alexio Kawara and Chiwoniso Maraire.
Busi Ncube will perform in Bulawayo on the 11th of June 2023 at The place. She was 23 in 1986 when “True Love” the monster hit, she sang lead on, came out. She turns 60 this year.

8 out 10 are deceased. Just 2 remain: Keith Farquharson (the youngest) and Busi Ncube. These, at one time or another where talented members of the fusion group Ilanga with more than one lead vocalist.
Keith Farquharson – I first met Dick Chingaira in 1985. I was eighteen. Benny Miller and Jane Bartlett had a record company called One World Records and Cde. Chinx and the Barrel Of Peace was the first artist that they recorded.
