Covid-19 a thief, terrorist: Chipanga

As Zimbabwe reverts to total lockdown as part of measures to flatten the curve of Covid-19 infections from today, gifted lyricists Hosiah Chipanga has likened the pandemic to a thief or a terrorist who inflicts pain on his victims.

Chipanga confident of winning MP seat

Sungura musician Hosiah Chipanga is optimistic of becoming the next Member of Parliament (MP) for Dangamvura-Chikanga constituency in Mutare after the harmonised elections scheduled for July 30. The Dangamvura-Chikanga seat is being contested by several aspiring candidates drawn from Zanu PF, MDC Alliance and MDC-T.

ZBC lifts Chipanga ban

For the first time in eight years, Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) interviewed veteran sungura musician Hosiah Chipanga signalling an end to the ban they imposed on the controversial artiste in 2009.
