Zanu PF has resolved to flush out senior members allegedly linked to the vanquished Generation 40 (G40), a faction that was associated with the late former President Robert Mugabe.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa has declared G40 an enemy of the State, warning any Zanu PF members interacting with its members would be dealt with.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa continues to be haunted by the G40 ghosts, a coterie of Zanu PF apparatchiks who almost succeeded in pushing him out of power in 2017.
