Popular Zimbabwean comedian Carl Joshua Ncube took to Facebook on Thursday evening to express his fury at how fellow comedian Edgar Langeveldt allegedly “sexually assaulted” his wife Nelsy at the Book Café in Harare.
HARARE – Joe Mawuru, who has been leading efforts to revive the popular local soapie Studio 263, says lack of funding has derailed the project. Joe, son to the late founding executive producer of Studio 263 Godwin, early this year announced that the soapie would make a comeback around midyear.
One of Zimbabwe’s celebrated filmmakers, Rumbi Katedza will this month premiere her own film, after seven years of working on the production. The film will also feature song birds, Kudzai Sevenzo and Prudence Katomeni-Mbofana.
