HARARE – Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai’s MDC party claims gunmen abducted one of its supporters in the Headlands area, as large numbers turned out to vote in a referendum which could present a false start to Zimbabwe’s nascent democracy.

HEADLANDS – Thousands of mourners on Thursday joined Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai and the MDC-T national leadership in paying their last respects to the late Christpowers Maisiri, the 12 year old boy who was burnt to death by Zanu PF thugs.
The callous murder of a 12 year old child in Headlands as he slept peacefully at home is a tragedy to his family who, as stories report, have suffered more than their fair share of tragedies.
HARARE – Slain Christpower Maisiri was born in Radze Mountain in 2000 as his parents hid from marauding shock-troops loyal to President Robert Mugabe’s Zanu PF.
According to Paul Freire “Oppression – overwhelming control – is necrophiliac; it is nourished by the love of death, not life”. Who ever killed young Christpower Maisiri is full of hate and loves death. RIP young Christpower Maisiri!!
Four Zanu PF activists have been named as having taken part in the murder of Christpower Maisiri, the 12 year old son of an MDC-T aspiring candidate who was burnt to death after the hut he and his family was sleeping in was torched.
The cold blood murder of Christpower Maisiri is heartless, cruel and barbaric. It is cases of this nature that Joyce Mujuru does not want the non-African election observers to notice during the run up to the elections.
Calls for peaceful elections by President Robert Mugabe have been exposed as insincere after thugs from his Zanu PF party set ablaze the home of an MDC-T aspiring parliamentary candidate killing his 12 year old son Christpower Maisiri.
