Chimurenga music legend Thomas “Mukanya” Mapfumo’s tour of South Africa scheduled for next week has been postponed due to the failure by some members of the veteran musician’s backing group to secure travel documents.
HARARE – Chimurenga music legend Thomas Mapfumo’s new album titled Danger Zone will finally be launched at the Book Café on February 17.
Y2K promotions postponed the Southern Africa Music and Arts (Sama) festival that was supposed to feature Zimbabwean contemporary musician Jah Prayzah, Afro-Jazz sensation Prince Musarurwa and Chimurenga guru Thomas Mapfumo.
