The Chitungwiza Municipality has cleared Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa’s United Family International Church to complete construction of its mega church in the town. Only last week the Chitungwiza Housing Director Jemina Gumbo was fired over the deal that saw Makandiwa’s church getting the land.
Notorious Zanu PF thug, Chief Kasekete of Muzarabani was yesterday officially handed over a three bedroomed (six roomed) house built by United Family International Church leader Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa.
Founder of the United Family International Church Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa is building a house for Chief Kasekete Changara of Mashonaland Central. The three bed-roomed house is being built at the chief’s homestead in Gweshe Village, Muzarabani South.
While attention has centered on how ZANU PF militants target members of the MDC led by Morgan Tsvangirai, SW Radio Africa has been supplied with a dossier compiled by members of the Johane Masowe WeChishanu Apostolic Church, detailing how their members have also been targeted in the last 3 years.
Muzarabani, a scenic district situated in the Mashonaland Central province near the Mozambique border is still reeling from the affects of politically motivated violence and intimidation witnessed in the area post March 2008. On the 4th of May 2008, Chief Kasekete of Muzarabani called for the murder of villagers subscribing to non- ZANU PF ideologies. By the 6th of May, 8 villagers were dead allegedly as a result of the decree.
