Council intensifies bid to fire Ncube

HARARE City Council has intensified its bid to fire suspended chamber secretary Mrs Josephine Ncube through a High Court application that seeks to quash her challenge against suspension. Council suspended Mrs Ncube in December last year together with three other directors  Dr Prosper Chonzi (health services), Mr Tendai Kwenda (finance) and Mr Cainos Chingombe (human capital) — on allegations of financial abuse.

Harare City Council ‘delays’ probe of executives

Harare City Council (HCC) has been accused of delaying the completion of a probe into the conduct of its four executives who are currently on suspension over a raft of allegations. This comes as a tribunal appointed to probe the executives is yet to complete its investigations which it said have been delayed by the city fathers.
