The regime through the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe last week brew yet another shocker when it awarded six television licences to its surrogates in a desperate attempt to POLAD-ise Zimbabwe’s television sector.
“Our government is really the biggest comedian because this awarding of TV licences is a joke. They have awarded six TV licences to people who are regime enablers connected to the government and in certain cases even to the military, what TV channel are the soldiers going to run, what are they going to show us, military parades?, Comrade Fatso queried.
Attempts by President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s regime to hoodwink the international community into thinking they have implemented long demanded media reforms by issuing six new free-to-air TV licences have been exposed by evidence the army is a shareholder in two of the companies.

Econet Group’s pay television service, Kwese Television (Private) Limited, popularly known as Kwese TV, has petitioned the High Court seeking an order to compel its business partner Dr Dish (Private) Limited (Dr Dish) to settle a $634 400 loan which was advanced to the firm for the payment of licence fees in Zimbabwe.
