HARARE – Controversy surrounding the death of the late General Solomon Mujuru is expected to rage on despite the findings of an official inquest suggesting that the intense speculation is entirely misplaced.
HARARE – The Mujuru family is not giving in yet in their bid to have remains of the late retired army general Solomon Mujuru exhumed for a second autopsy. Their request to have a second autopsy conducted on Mujuru will be resuscitated if the findings of the presiding magistrate do not satisfy them.
HARARE – A magistrate’s court on Monday rejected a request to exhume the body of former Zimbabwe army commander Solomon Mujuru to allow a fresh autopsy to establish the cause of his death six months ago.
HARARE – The family of the late Retired General Solomon Mujuru yesterday demanded the exhumation of his body and a fresh autopsy by an independent forensic expert. This came after a state-appointed forensic pathologist claimed in court yesterday that Mujuru’s cause of the death could have been choking by smoke from fire.
