UK based Zimbabwean born solicitor and legal practitioner, Mr Andrew Nyamayaro has added another feather up his cap after being appointed the new president of the Warwickshire Law Society for the year 2021 to 2022. Mr Nyamayaro is the Principal of Tann Law Solicitors in the UK.

Making a Will in Zimbabwe during an epidemic Zimbabwe like most countries in the UK is under a lockdown due to the impact of the Coronavirus COVID 19. WHO declared Covid 19 to be a pandemic and will this affect the execution and validity of a Will done during the pandemic?
Andrew Nyamayaro: “The UK Home Office has published a new policy Guidance Note on Zimbabwean opposition parties (Version3.0, April 2018) which can be found here. In the guidance the Home Office recognises that whilst political parties operate in Zimbabwe, the political space is controlled by the ruling party Zanu PF.”

The letter gives notice that the UK government is suspending past and present asylum applications from Zimbabweans.
