AFZ hands over property to chopper crash victims

The Air Force of Zimbabwe (AFZ) yesterday handed over household property worth thousands of dollars to the Fenyere family, whose house was razed to the ground by flames when the Agusta Bell 412 (AB 412) helicopter crashed into their house in Arcturus, Mashonaland East Province.

Yes, ‘death, be not proud’

The helicopter’s deafening roar reverberates in the vicinity; the ground and nearby trees tremble in spite of their known resilience as the huge bird glides to the tarmac on the southern end of the Parade Square at Manyame Air Base. Emotional send-off for AFZ pilots

A sombre atmosphere engulfed Manyame Air Base yesterday as relatives, workmates and friends gathered at a funeral parade held by the Air Force of Zimbabwe (AFZ) in honour of the aircrew of the Agusta Bell 412 helicopter that crashed in the Hukuru Area in Arcturus, Mashonaland East Province last week
