Mugabe to reshuffle key security bosses

President Robert Mugabe is set to reshuffle key security service chiefs, having already redeployed ex-Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) boss retired Major-General Happyton Bonyongwe to become the new Justice minister.

Part 5 of the SW Radio Africa leaked CIO list

SW Radio Africa continues with Part 5 of the list of Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) agents working in and outside Zimbabwe. The document dated 2001 contains a list of state security agents working at that time. Some may have retired or passed away, but evidence has shown many are still serving. Although the document contained their home addresses, SWRA are not publishing these details.

New CIO boss 98% disabled

Newly appointed deputy director-general of the Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) Aaron Daniel Tonde Nhepera, received Z$650 901 from the War Victims Compensation Fund in 1997 after claiming to have suffered a shocking 98% disability from war injuries.
