Moira Knight speaks out on allegations she infected Seh Calaz with HIV

Moira Knight has hit out at suggestions that she infected musician Seh Calaz with the HIV virus, saying it was not possible for her to give someone a sexually transmitted disease she does not have.

Seh Calaz, who was in the headlines last week for disses directed at Winky D and journalist Hopewell Chin’ono, confirmed he was below the weather last week, as fans continued to speculate on his sudden loss of weight.

Some on social media commentators had pointed to Knight, his ex-wife, as a possible reason for why the musician was now suddenly of ill-health.

Posting a picture of her recent HIV test on Facebook recently, Knight was at pains to point out that she did not have the virus.

“But yekuti ndine chirwere or ndakapa Cala chirwere Ndaramba!. It’s entirely impossible. How can i give what I don’t have? I’ve heard the accusations but chirwere handina and handitorina. Born hiv negative and i’ll d!e Negative. I thank you”

The couple had a nasty divorce in 2020, which played out on social media with Knight levelling abuse allegations against Seh Calaz and threatening to leak his x-rated pictures.

In 2022, the two found themselves in court with Knight demanding US$2 000 per month from the musician for child support. However, Seh Calaz offered to pay US$50 arguing that he has six more children depending on him.

Magistrate Judith Taruvinga then ruled that the musician will pay ZWL$45 000 as maintenance.
