“This girl really ran off with my song” Yung Miami claims Tyla stole hit track

FLORIDA – American rapper Yung Miami has accused South African singer Tyla of theft of intellectual property, claiming she got the idea for her new single, Chanel, from one of their meetings.

According to Miami, she played her own unreleased track where she chants “Take me to Chanel” for the ‘Water’ singer long before either version hit the net.

“This girl really ran off with my song and I don’t know how to feel about it, mind you I played this song for this girl,” she wrote on X along with thinking emojis, before adding, “Like…. B*tch I’m confused!”

Later, she dropped a more specific hint by tweeting, “Take me to Chanel > put me in Chanel.” When a fan pointed out that Miami had been slow to release her own version, she replied, “Don’t matter it’s my mf song!!!” She also wrote that she “played” Tyla the track.

Tyla announced the release of her new single “Chanel” on October 15, confirming that it will drop on Friday, October 24. In Tyla’s teaser, she sings, “Say you love me, put me in Chanel.”
