HARARE – Prominent gold dealer and Scottland FC owner, Scott Sakupwanya, has finally delivered on a long-standing promise by handing over a Toyota Corolla vehicle worth US$27 000 to Dynamos midfielder Denver Mukamba.

Mukamba was among the Scottland players who were promised vehicles last year as a reward for helping the team secure promotion to the top-flight league.

However, the pledge went unfulfilled, until now.

The handover comes just three weeks after Mukamba played a pivotal role in defeating Scottland at Rufaro Stadium, helping Dynamos come from behind to secure a 3-2 win.

After the match, Sakupwanya rewarded Mukamba with US$1,000 for his stunning goal and outstanding performance.

Despite finally honoring the promise to Mukamba, Sakupwanya has yet to fulfill the same commitment to several other players who were instrumental in Scottland’s promotion.

Only a few individuals have received their promised vehicles so far.
