Zimbabwe drawn against South Africa, Mauritius and Mozambique in COSAFA Cup

HARARE – The Zimbabwe Warriors have been drawn in Group A alongside South Africa, Mauritius and Mozambique for the upcoming 2025 COSAFA Cup tournament.

The regional tournament will be held in South Africa for the eighth straight year, this time in Mangaung (Bloemfontein) and is scheduled to run from 4–15 June.

The group stage draw was conducted on Wednesday in Bloemfontein, confirming Zimbabwe’s opponents as they seek to reclaim the COSAFA trophy for the first time since their last triumph in 2018.

Zimbabwe remains one of the most successful nations in the competition’s history, having won the title six times.

There are four groups, with the top team from each, advancing to the semi-finals.

Winner of Group A will face the top side from Group D, while Group B winner will take on the leading team from Group C.

All matches will broadcast live on SABC and SuperSport and streamed globally on FIFA+.
