HARARE – Zimbabwe Warriors star Khama Billiat has emphasised the importance of Knowledge Musona’s experience following his return to the national team.

Musona, who had previously retired from international football, made a U-turn last week and was named in the squad for Zimbabwe’s upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Benin and Nigeria.

Speaking to ZBC News, Billiat expressed his excitement about Musona’s return, saying:

“Having Knowledge, with his experience, is a great motivation.

“We have worked with him in the past, and it feels great. It has been a long time waiting for him and finally he’s here.

“We need his experience, and it is going to add a lot (to the team).

“A great leader and person, having him. back is going to be a great motivation.”

The Warriors departed Harare for Durban yesterday where they will host Benin at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in South Africa.

They are set to face Nigeria on Sunday.
