Prominent Zimbabwean journalist Hopewell Chin’ono has challenged Seh Calaz to sound clash, after the Zimdancehall star name dropped and dissed him and Winky D in his latest track.
The song titled, Mambo Ndi Mambo, takes a swipe at the two popular personalities, something that Chin’ono took offence at.
In a post on Facebook, the media personality, popularly known as Daddy Hope, took aim at Seh Calaz for seemingly failing to take up his offer for a charity event in which the two would battle it out on stage.

In his song, Seh Calaz describes the veteran scribe as an old man.
“Urigwara mupfanha iwe Seh Calaz. You diss me in your track which is fair game for all sound men, but you refuse a sound clash with me, why?” Chin’ono asked.
“Kana ndachembera as you said, come to a clash and prove that you are the king! There is only one king wemangoma mufanha. Tawanda, his name is Winky D,” he said.
Replying to a fan that asked why he was not asking to battle Winky D, Chin’ono said he had no problem with the Gaffa.
“I have never met Winky D, nor have I ever talked to him, but it is common knowledge that he is the King of Dancehall by all metrics, from followers to hit records to YouTube views and more.
“Why would I want to clash with the King who has never dissed me? I want Calaz because he is the one who named me in his new song.
“You can’t name someone and complain when he responds saying he is a journalist but a better reggae DJ than you.
“So, I am saying, since he claims to be the King of Dancehall, let him start here and leave Winky D alone, whom he also dissed in his track!”
