Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions Simba Bhora captain Walter Musona is on the verge of a move to Scottland FC, Nehanda Radio has learnt.

The gifted midfielder who is among the PSL’ best 11 is reportedly in advanced talks with the Mabvuku based side.

“Talks between Wale (Walter Musona) and Scottland are at and advanced stage,” sources told this publication.

If negotiations go well, the former Polokwane City midfielder will join Scottland as a free agent.

This comes after his contract with Simba Bhora is set to expire on 31 December 2024 after signing a one year deal with the club at the start of the season following his departure from FC Platinum.

Scottland owner Pedzisayi ‘Scott’ Sakupwanya is reportedly an admirer of Musona who has been in stellar form this season.

His impressive performances have earned the Zimbabwe national team attacker a place among the league’s Soccer Stars of the Year for the 2024 season.

Musona was instrumental in Simba Bhora’s historic league title triumph, helping the team win the championship just two seasons after earning top flight league promotion.

His contributions include 10 goals and as many assists in as many games.

This has made him a strong contender for the Soccer Star of the Year award.
