A game we could have won says Billiat after Warriors draw with Cameroon

Must Try

Zimbabwe Warriors star Khama Billiat took to his social media platform, X, to express his disappointment after the Warriors failed to secure a victory over giants Cameroon on Tuesday in Uganda.

Billiat’s sentiments comes after the Warriors put up a strong performance against the 5-time African champions but the match ended in a 0-0 draw.

The 34-year-old who recently returned to the national team fold following his retirement in 2021, was instrumental in the Warriors’ performances against the Indomitable Lions and Kenya on Friday.

Taking to social media, Billiat wrote, “A game we could have won, and we’re glad we didn’t lose!”

However, the former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns star showed he is still optimistic.

“Let’s keep pushing lads,” the Yadah FC star added.

Billiat’s return has been a major boost for the Warriors who are under the guidance of new coach Michael Nees.
