Disappointing season for Bosso and DeMbare fans? 11 games left, still no replica jerseys

Must Try

Trending

HARARE – The 2024 Premier Soccer League (PSL) campaign is winding down, with only 11 matches remaining, yet, two of the country’s most supported clubs, Highlanders and Dynamos have failed to provide their passionate fans with new replica jerseys.

The country’s iconic clubs have starved their fans of new replicas, remaining without a single one sold as the jerseys are not in place.

Both clubs have failed to introduce the new Adidas replica jerseys for their passionate fanbase that has stood with them through thick and thin.

There may be various reasons for this situation, but it’s disappointing that the clubs’ leadership has taken a lackluster approach in addressing the issue.

Lack of new replicas, especially with 11 games left to complete the season, suggests a level of mismanagement.

It is simply unacceptable for clubs of such a stature.

Both Bosso and DeMbare leadership must take responsibility and address this issue urgently, but that is only if their fans mean anything to them.

There is a popular saying at Bosso found mainly on their social media platforms, it says: “Ubuhle beBosso ngabalandeli bayo (Bosso’s ‘beauty’ is witnessed through its (loyal) fans)”.

However, in this case, without any communication from the club, informing its fans on the reasons for the delayed arrival of the replica jerseys, the saying holds no meaning.

Same applies with DeMbare, the club brags that it has 7 million supporters countrywide, but not addressing them on the absence of new replicas sends a negative message.

The absence of new replica jerseys not only impacts the clubs’ finances but also diminishes the enthusiasm and pride of their supporters.

Replica jerseys are more than just merchandise, they serve as a symbol of identity for fans expressing their support for their teams.

For fans, wearing a replica jersey is a way to show utmost support for their teams and become part of the club’s collective identity.

In fact, for fans, wearing replica jerseys for their teams is a source of pride and it helps strengthen their connection with their clubs.

Undoubtedly, the absence of replicas especially at this stage of the season, leaves many Bosso and DeMbare fans disappointed and disconnected.
